Default 73 Driveshaft ??

The stripe coloring matches the assembly manual (455HO TH400), but the stripe width and spacing do not coincide with what others have posted in other threads. I realize there may be a variance from year to year, but how do these measurements compare to other 1973 models?
-The stripes start approx 12 3/8" from the front weld
-Stripe width appears to be 11/16"
-Stripe spacing looks to be only 1/16-1/8"

I got pictures some where ? to many computers and to many files. My june cars didn't have the blue strip but the spacing looks similar.
Will post a picture when (if) I find them.

A point of info here. These ID stripes on the driveshafts were not done with any amount of precision. There was no exact color stripe width, nor was there any exact stripe spacing. This color stripe ID'ing was done in a great hurry with no particular attention to anything,.....other than that the workers would use the correct colors for the application of the shaft they had just built.

x2! Don't get all technical on this stuff. Get it close at best and slop some paint on there.
