Default The Goat Came Home

After a year and a half at the body shop, it came home Wednesday.

I took a few pics. Let me know what you guys think.

I went with the original color from the factory, knowing the first question
out of everyones mouths will be... " is that a Judge?"

No, its not a Judge, just a special ordered paint code.

Now the work begins!

Steve

This pic is kinda freaky, look in the reflection on the quarter panel.
Its almost as if my buddies GTO outside in the driveway was saying,
"What about Me, You can't forget about me!!"
LOL
I didnt even realize I was taking a pic of his GTO until I looked at it today.

Weird

Congrats, it looks great! Is there a "NO JUDGE" license plate in the future?

Thanks guys for the compliments. Yeah it will be a great car soon enough.
Already a ton of work into it, and still alot to be done.

I have the PHS at home, at work right now. I will post it
Actually nothing special. The guy who ordered it must have been a little kooky. Carousel Red, deluxe wheel covers, A/C, standard 400, th400.

Looking at your first brought it home pic, my first thought was "It buffed right out"
Looks very nice. Care to elaborate on products and steps used to get it "buffed out" :-)

Default Congrats!

Is a huge step finally getting it back from the body shop...and now the work truly does begin...good luck with re-assembly.

First and foremost, I can NOT take credit for the paint and bodywork. I can tell you a longtime friend and Paint/Body expert of mine worked VERY hard on this thing for a year and a half after I put inner and outer wheelhouses, quarter skins, driver side rocker panel, and a little minor floor and trunk work. He worked on it on the side while running his shop and making a living with insurance work. ( He wouldn't have made a living on this thing).
He used PPG from start to finish, I can get the particulars if you like.
He is very good at what he does and obviously can cut and buff! LOL
Pictures don't do it justice, much better in person I am proud to say!

Steve
