Yep, still got free entry for driver and one passenger to Silver Springs in Ocala the first week in October. Would love to see more Pontiacs, no matter stock or modified. We're a tad over 650 pre-registered cars at the moment. Thread here: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=563471

One day I'll make it south to Sunshine again (haven't been since '04), but I'll be in Bradenton for the Southern Nostalgia Race on November 1st-2nd and the BOPC race in Gainesville of course!

Only if one is the size of a golf cart.

Mine will probably still be down at that time.

You'll hate me saying this Brian, but I'm glad you didn't sell that bird, always have liked what you did to it. Very clean, very well done. You'll have to ride down to the other end of HWY54 and drop by one day.

Thanks Randy, the only reason i put it up for sale is that i hardly ever have time to enjoy it anymore, figured i would let someone else have the fun but not in todays economy, believe me the car is a blast to drive and very consistent at the track, hopefully get it out more this year, fingers crossed.

I got some practice in for the 6.50 index Wed. night, got the 28/10.5s hooking good at Orlando on a TNT night,so they should really hook at Sunshine.I ran the .400 pro tree for the first time, wow thats fast!My lights got better every run,but still need alot of practice.I watched a few videos of past races,a couple guys were cutting .030 or better consistently!Looks like good weather Sat.,hope to see you guys there.

Mark: Pretty sure they run the .40 light at Sunshine for the 6.50 and faster classes. Us slow cars go off the 50.

See ya there, Jim

Brian - My son lives in New Port Richey, small world. He'll be driving the Catalina at Sunshine. So if you see an old big silver Cat in the pits, stop by and say Hi, we may need a hand.
