Motor plates
I am new to this scene mainly because I build street cars. I am curious of the various motor plate setups offered for pontiacs. All Pontiac has a front and mid plate arrangement I am looking at. Any thoughts?

I also use one of their front plates only on my wife's car with the stock motor mounts just to give a little more support on the block and to act as a torque limiter instead of using chains, turnbuckles, straps, etc.

AP front plate, mid plate, poly trans mount & limiters to control longitudinal movement.

Any decent custom water jet business can cut you exactly what you need.

I went with elephant ears instead of a front motor plate. I have a poly trans mount, and two limiters on the front of the engine. No mid-plate.

Thanks every one for the input, we are going to most likely run the all Pontiac setup. If not I am not opposed to making my own.

Props
I've seen your '65 at the Del Mar Goodguys show. VERY nicely done! I may borrow your idea for the steering linkage. Did you have any issues with it?

That steering linkage had issues with a tiny bit of run out and play, thanks it was a really nice cruiser show car.
