That should be a strong running engine. Describe how you calculated 32,34,36 total timing vs 24 degrees at 3k rpm - this is way too low. Initial timing + mechanical advance should be around 34-36...

Just in case you are unaware, when you disconnect the vacuum line to set initial and full mechanical advance, make sure you plug the vacuum source.
