How did you reroute your starter cables. I am assuming you are working on a 66 GTO.
I have ram air exhaust manifolds on my 66 389.
What gauge wires did you use.
I am using #1 gauge...

That is what I was thinking. When the car sits for the winter coolant is coming out and sitting on the water pump.
The high temperature only happens when I start it up when it is cold.
