I have a rear end to fit your car, it is an 8.5. The only thing you have to do is shorten the driveshaft 1 inch. Thank's Rick for the recommendation.

I have an 8.5 10 bolt that will work in a 67 GTO. The only thing you need to do is shorten the driveshaft 1 inch. These rear ends are very strong if you are wanting to use slicks.

You will need to use a rear end from a 71-72 cutlass or buick skylark if you want to put an 8.5 in your car. I have a couple of these to build if you are interested.
