I bought an Olds engine to rebuild, and I am trying to decode it. The pad under the big 4A on the drivers side is 29L157179. I know the 2 means it was put in a Pontiac, and the 9 is the year 1979,...

I am definitely sure it's a 403. It has the tell tail oil filler cap just forward of the breather cover. And the 4A heads.

My 10th TA is having a problem with I guess the power window circuit. It affects my Tach, fuel gauge, key buzzer and power windows. The tach will peg out, or freeze, and the power windows, and fuel...
