Well I couldnt find the orange and black wire in...

Well I couldnt find the orange and black wire in my 36 year old wire harness so I ran a jumper wire from the kickdown switch to the trans and it works perfectly, thanks for the help!

400 kickdown wire to trans

I have a 72 Lemans sport convertable with 400 and 400 turbo trans. somewhere along the line the 400 kickdown switch was removed. I replaced the switch and bracket but cannot find the wire that runs...

How do you determin real WS-6?

I replaced the white plastic piece that connects to the two lugs behind the gauge and now the gauge goes to full and pegs there. I guess this is some progress because the gauge wouldnt move at all...

You could switch over to HEI if your not woried...

You could switch over to HEI if your not woried about originality. looks cleaner then MSD box and is somewhat hidden by air cleaner.

I got this picture out of the GTO restoration guide. It is for a 70 but there is no digram for 72's and the fender looks like the same bracket would work on my car as well. The part is number 11
