How the heck do these go?

Front inner fender splash shields for 68-69 GTO. I have turned these every which way, and haven't found a fit yet. I don't know where on the wheel well they go, or even which end is up, or front ...

Could use some friendly advice. A pic of these items installed in your goat would be priceless.
