will soon be installing a 66' restored tri power on this 65' gp 389, I've never messed with tri power but have the desire to learn, please give details on exactly what i need to swap this out and make it run properly, did a forum search and didn't come up with many specifics.
A step by step instruction would be perfect but i'll take what i can get, here's what i know so far, the motor has a big hei that won't fit and i need a shop manual, but which one? Who makes the best gaskets for this swap? Are there any changes that need to be made to the fuel system? What about timing specs and vacuum advance and that sort of thing? Thanks Jim
