Got a few pics from a collectors 66' auto 2+2, look at the linkage and tell me what you see, i don't know what's factory and what's custom, i just want something that works that doesn't look homemade, the other pics are at the shop, got the block off plates made and ready, the quarter panel pic is for arohed or anyone that needs it, looks nasty to me and has bondo slathered on there as well but someone might want it.

The factory auto Trips would have had a huge distillery of vacuum hoses, canisters & dashpots. I have yet to see one that is still on a car after 40 years.

My '66 GP has got a set-up with solid rods that snap together & are rigid. I believe it is a factory 4 speed linkage converted to use on an Automatic.

The Pics you have there look to me like that linkage would be subject to binding up. The angle of the linkage with respect to the plane of the outside of the 3 carbs is critical from my experience. The drooping on that rig is asking for trouble. I have to stomp the crap out of mine to engage it & that does not look like something I want to be stomping on.
