The RPM intake is a big PITA to use with Shaker assemblies. It also raises the carb up and causes other issues requiring some "cobbling" to make it work. It has no provision for a hot air or divorced choke, so an electric conversion is in order if the owner wants a working choke.

The RPM intake is a fine intake otherwise. We use and recommend it where hood clearance will not be an issue. For most Shaker and Ram Air set-ups, we use the stock intakes. If the power level dictates, we will modify them accordingly.....Cliff
