--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, actually it came a tad short...but 1180hp from 419" isn't all that bad.
John Husek finished up his latest project a little while ago and finally got the time to put it on Extreme's dyno last saturday.
He then called Frank Iacionio for a quick appointment this last monday to verify the power it made.
Johns plans for this project were to work with myself to continue to make gains in the engine room as well as the race track, I guess i threw in the towel a bit too soon.
Anyway, this engine made 1180hp @9500 and 660 tq.
Sheetmetal intake and 2 "small" dominators, Johns carbs off his 1100hp 399" engine.
It was run on Q16 and with the same headers they dyno'd my 440 with.
Some people might not believe the #s, but I just wanted to put this post up as I believe it has to be the most powerful NA small block in existence!!!!
The head castings are GM SB2.2 castings with no major mods
Iron eagle 9" deck block
I believe Hughes did the manifold, John will have to verify..
John did the carbs as stated earlier
Jesel valvetrain components.
Killer job JTS,.......now work on your camera skills!![/QUOTE
My buddy is putting together SBF___400+ windsor. 1100+hp
