Badger State Chapter POCI cruise to Wis. Dells
A handful (the usual handful) of Badger State Chapter POCI members are heading to the Dells this weekend.
We are staying at the Blackhawk Motel (original family owned since 1945!). http://www.blackhawkmotel.com/ Saturday morning we are heading to Camp Douglas, Wis., for a tour of a junkyard. My understanding is that it has been closed for years and opened in the '40s! The tour starts at 9AM Saturday. Some sort of dinner plan is being put together for Saturday nite. Weather depending we (well, at least Mrs. Engine-Ear and I) will be going to the Big Sky Drive In theater Saturday nite. http://www.bigskydrivein.com/ Presumably we will get breakfast Sunday morning and then things will break up. Although this is a BSC/POCI event, any PY-er with a desire to hang out will be welcome. This is a DYOC, as in Drive Your Old Car, event... hint hint.
