  By comparing the two photos, the things that stand out to me is the repro's emblem does not sit as flush in the knob body as the GM part. Also, the grain on the repro is coarser. With that said, the repro is not bad at all! I purchased it for around $239 shipped. Not bad considering the last one sold for substantially more http://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-1979-FI...p2047675.l2557
