I know how thick a normal chroming is. I was talking to them about adding .125 to the crank. Turning a 4.125 stroke crank into a 4.25 stroke crank. They told me it could be done without welding. leaving the crank in there over the "weekend" so the layer was extra thick and grinding it to size. I am not mistaken about the conversation, I was specific and so was he.
