Scott, good to hear from you again, the motor is already out, will check to see if i have a vid of the smoke just starting to come out, the pan is a aftermarket pan, think i might put that on the stand and do the cork over the rear of the pan, then do the smoke test again, might be interesting, couple yrs back i did do the tip test, had a small leak, was told thats normal, wont leak when in use. I guess the part that really confusing me is the amount of oil in the bellhousing and flying around on the whole underside of the car............will try as you said, cant hurt.
