Big hole in carb bracket?
The big hole, about 1/2" diameter, in a Holley carb throttle shaft bracket...
Is this big hole used often, or ever, for the throttle linkage? Is there a bushing that goes there for a rod system? I ask because I am exploring options on where to attach my throttle rod. I tried converting my 67 Firebird from stock rod setup to a cable, and was unhappy. Now I am going back to stock-ish. My FiTech has a big hole, and a small hole on the bracket. The small hole requires a lot of pedal pressure because it is a closer radius to the throttle shaft. The big hole is farther away. Anybody out there using that hole, and how did you do it? Thanks.
