Sooooooo can you produce a 1000hp E head dyno sheet n/a..........it doesn't seem as hard as it is for you to produce a .00x reaction time.

Im sure many here will agree. LOLFact is we here about it all the time but I have never seen it, and the truth is i dont think the people that we here it from have done it either. So they all be been called out! Im sure of one sheet that is close enough to get a free pass and probably one other but that's all I know of? What is the highest rumored E head dyno sheet? |

Hahaha, Mike's stuff is nothing like Jeff's head. What I saw of Jeff's was nice but just different than what we got going in Mikes head, not really any better or worse just different. Mike's head has been rubbed on so many times it just kind of turned into what it has. |

John Husek finished up his latest project a little while ago and finally got the time to put it on Extreme's dyno last saturday. He then called Frank Iacionio for a quick appointment this last monday to verify the power it made. Johns plans for this project were to work with myself to continue to make gains in the engine room as well as the race track, I guess i threw in the towel a bit too soon. Anyway, this engine made 1180hp @9500 and 660 tq. Sheetmetal intake and 2 "small" dominators, Johns carbs off his 1100hp 399" engine. It was run on Q16 and with the same headers they dyno'd my 440 with. Some people might not believe the #s, but I just wanted to put this post up as I believe it has to be the most powerful NA small block in existence!!!! The head castings are GM SB2.2 castings with no major mods Iron eagle 9" deck block I believe Hughes did the manifold, John will have to verify.. John did the carbs as stated earlier Jesel valvetrain components. Killer job JTS,.......now work on your camera skills!! |

But then again, who's counting horsepower, or dump sheets. I thought I would have seen over a dozen ehead 1000+ HP combos. CV-1 crowd smiles are getting bigger. I think skull drag is a little harsh, maybe a little carpet burn might be a better analogy.

1. When we dyno'd Jeff's motor at Philadelphia Racing Engines is was raining and the owner (can't remember his name) said that his dyno was stingy. So the conditions were not even close to optimum. 2. Jack is correct. Even after the motor was dyno'd we continued to refine the set-up just about every pass to get everything out of that motor/chassis we could! That car was a continuing work in progress. We always strived for more! 3. When he went 8.42 the DA that day was not even close to mine shaft air. If my memory serves me correctly (Jeff correct me if I'm wrong), I believe the air was 600-800 feet and the barometer SUCKED. Jeff's car is so efficient...but there is always room for improvement.

Lots of but, but, but ...."BUT" still no sheet! Granted some of it is valid points.
As far as Im concerned Jeff makes a 1000 no problem 998 on a rain day, yup. Ran better in the car to at hut-hum cough cough 600-800 ft I was E mailed one but it would not open the PDF. Supposed to be 1021 hp E head sheet! |

My reply was based on the quote above from Mike. Tuning and increasing HP after dyno testing does happen. But if the motor was re-dynoed it would produce higher HP. Stan
