Hello All,

Saw this recently in the parking garage of one of the high-rise residential towers in town. These cars were parked in the resident's parking are (rather than in the visitor's) area. I had always assumed a muscle car enthusiast would likely never live in one of those towers because of the difficulty of keeping (and working on) an old car without a garage. Musta been wrong…

wow, very nice.

I use to own a condo, and they had garages, but the waiting list was really long, took almost 4 years for one to become available, as soon as it did I jumped on it. But then again I had replaced a transmission in my assigned parking lot....

Forgot to say, the GTO looked pretty stock, but the Camero had mini-tubs, a cage (you can kinda see it in the photo) and that writing on the front of the fender says "512." I bet that car (and the GTO, too) could really fill that garage with rumble!

Your post brought back some memories...

Back in the early '90s, I was flagged down in Houston while driving my '79 Y84 TA by a guy who was driving a '76 TA. Got to know him as a real die-hard Trans Am and Pontiac enthusiast as he also had a Turbo TA. Visited his home and he too lived in a high rise like your photos show, except:
His Parking Spaces were on a slope which presented interesting challenges during repairs and maintenance!
