Forgot to say, the GTO looked pretty stock, but the Camero had mini-tubs, a cage (you can kinda see it in the photo) and that writing on the front of the fender says "512." I bet that car (and the GTO, too) could really fill that garage with rumble!

Your post brought back some memories...

Back in the early '90s, I was flagged down in Houston while driving my '79 Y84 TA by a guy who was driving a '76 TA. Got to know him as a real die-hard Trans Am and Pontiac enthusiast as he also had a Turbo TA. Visited his home and he too lived in a high rise like your photos show, except:
His Parking Spaces were on a slope which presented interesting challenges during repairs and maintenance!

Few Fridays ago (IIRC - Spring Break) while in rush hour traffic, I could hear a rumbling exhaust note and smell racing fuel in the air. And here's why below:

This 1948 Chrysler Windsor was painted in Pearl White and dig the "Security Door Locking System" and "DUB" wheels.
It was kind of cool in an odd sort of way.

You'll most likely enjoy to hear that there are now (3) VOLTs in my immediate neighbor hood - 1 Burgundy, 1 Light Silver Blue, 1 Silver Gray.
AND there is a BLACK VOLT often seen parked at our local grocers. One time was parked "in front of EV charging station" although not "plugged-in" to the "juice dispenser"

With that this Silver/Gray Volt was spotted on my Friday commute...the reflection is from sunlight bouncing off my ball cap on dash top onto the windshield.

Another day last week, IIRC Thurs, spotted this NSX on the road up ahead.

FL tags in TX and reminded of neighbors' former Red Modded NSX w FL tags they had...but this one below was too stock to be the same one...don't see them like we used to on the streets here.

Boss 302 was later in the same afternoon.

My '03 Silverado 1500 has 6 lug wheels and is NOT 4 wheel dive. Mutant?

That Boss 'Stang was around the corner from this "HEY LOOK AT ME EVERYBODY!!!!!" Ferrari.
Pretty typical seeing them around these parts.
This bad boy was parked out front of a Cigar Shop.
Note the "Corvette/Camaro" taillight recessed black accent treatment.

There was a new yellow viper up the street from my house this weekend, I heard a really weird exhaust note, looked down the street and saw it doing a U-turn

I ran inside to get my camera, but no dice... oh well

nice catch, it just doesnt look right with those colors, especially the black accent

I would however drive it in a heartbeat, haha and own it if i had the cash and it was all red

I understand, and resort to my less optimal cellphone camera...better to get the image than miss it IMO.

Thxs. Thought it might be enjoyable to others here as well. To be fair, that color in my photos is washed out. The actual color really "pops" and grabs your attention like the added image below. Comparing the two, you can see the difference and what the color really looks like. Definitely not for the timid, wall flowers, or those wishing to remain anonymous!
