Best porter for what application? There are to many variables in this. If you wanted every last bit they could possibly give you the bill will be huge. Not to mention the valvetrain expense (like previously mentioned) it would require to make power with them. Everyone has a budget (some larger than others) that they have to stay within. Its not that hard to figure out how much airflow you need to make X horsepower at X cubic inches. You may not need as much flow as you think.

Some facts for you,
Car #1 dynos around 1030hp runs 5.4@129 weighs 2900lbs, has ladder bars, tunnel ram and 2 carbs Car #2 dynos around 1030hp runs 5.43@128 weighs 3300lbs, stock suspension, victor intake and 1 carb What conclusion do you draw? Can you show me a 1000+hp kre that shows it on the track? |

These cars could be running 5.30 @ 130 or there abouts. Clearly the delta can be found in the chassis, tune etc. |

If both pick up 29mph (a reasonable gain), then car#1 shows 915hp and car #2 shows 1020hp. Here is another example paper says 1000hp, car runs 9.2s at 146-147 car weighs 3300lbs, thats not 1000hp. |

With only 3 clean passes absolutely no tuning has been done to find any extra power.
Finding an inflated dyno is next on the list so he can be like everyone else. A piece of paper that shows huge numbers but can't be backed up. No one seems to question the dyno, just assume the car sucks. |

No it's not. Who's car is that? Probably needs to check the car out and find what is not optimized for that combo?

Your car shows over 1040HP by the ET, the MPH shows you have more HP (1130 HP), so your car is needing some work to get it to ET better. What's wrong with the dyno numbers compared to the track results?

1025 HP – 2650 lbs = 7.92 @ 170 Pickett Wagon
1034 HP – 2150 lbs. = 7.36 @ 184 Campolucci GTO Both sets of HP's were done by KRE. I'm really not sure how all of this is helping the guy asking for input on HP's. I'm out. Quote:
