Best porter for what application? There are to many variables in this. If you wanted every last bit they could possibly give you the bill will be huge. Not to mention the valvetrain expense (like previously mentioned) it would require to make power with them. Everyone has a budget (some larger than others) that they have to stay within. Its not that hard to figure out how much airflow you need to make X horsepower at X cubic inches. You may not need as much flow as you think.

Forgive me for being a bit vague, but I grudge race my car and don't go into great details with it on public forums, but in its current configuration it's a Stock block with a standard degree head, cast intake, one carb on motor! But I feel it's time to step this program up, because the stock block can't take much more of this, and I'll need more head to support the next short Block! Just wanted to know who has dedicated the most time successfully with this particular casting, I have a goal in mind, and would discuss that with the porter in question.

Dan Barton has been working on my HP heads since 2009-2010. He'll get you to your goal guaranteed, Gaby or BES are also good options.

I don't understand this post.

These cars could be running 5.30 @ 130 or there abouts. Clearly the delta can be found in the chassis, tune etc.

Theres a 400lb difference and car #2 is far from ideal. NFW they make the same power.

Well your 1/8 mph calc is fubar. It shows me making 20 hp more than i did.....in the heat.... hurt.....with the 330 off almost .10 and it was NOT spinning. BS.

I know of a well sorted out car and it shows north of 60+ wrong to the good.

If both pick up 29mph (a reasonable gain), then car#1 shows 915hp and car #2 shows 1020hp.
Here is another example paper says 1000hp, car runs 9.2s at 146-147 car weighs 3300lbs, thats not 1000hp.

Finding an inflated dyno is next on the list so he can be like everyone else. A piece of paper that shows huge numbers but can't be backed up. No one seems to question the dyno, just assume the car sucks.

So this hypothetical #2 is you?

Your car shows over 1040HP by the ET, the MPH shows you have more HP (1130 HP), so your car is needing some work to get it to ET better.

What's wrong with the dyno numbers compared to the track results?

Isn't Picketts wagon running Warp6 heads? I am not sure what stallion was running.

And the wagon went how fast the same weekend as car 2 went a 8.5x???????

8.39 at 2700!!!!!!!!
