Ed, looks like you guy's are making some more progress. Looking good !!!!!

I talked with Mark a little about the injector position and size of injectors you are using and after talking with him. I think you might need to consider another set of injectors with another computer up stream for street driving. I tried running big injectors in a build I done awhile back without much success on the street. We could get them to work at wide open or idle, but they were very intolerant everywhere else. We finally made an injector plate so to speak that went between the throttle body and intake plenum and installed smaller injectors for cruising around on. Worked really well and helped with the tune immensely. Just food for thought.

Hi Don,

Which size and brand injectors did you have issues with?

I've been wondering about the same thing... do you happen to know what duty cycle started giving you trouble with the big injectors?

You only ever hear about the max duty cycle and never the min..

Not sure what Ed is running, but a dominator ECU will run 24 injectors, so I assume you could program a second set for the street.

The Injectors I'm using are 235lb Moran Billet Atomizer along with the Holley Dominator ECU.
The injectors operate linearly with pulse width as small as 1.2 milliseconds and opens with the standard 4 amp peak and 1 amp hold ECU drivers.

As its a "STREET CAR" cough cough , it will be interesting to see how those injectors work at low speeds while driving to the Burger King.

I’m interested as well. Mike Moran claimed they would work fine.
