You planning on just selling in a kit form? Will you be able to buy individual part?

Are you doing a 4" stroke, 3" main version?

Here is a good E-Head discussion. How much would someone pay, if they wanted to buy a used 500 cubic inch E-Headed complete longblock? Complete heads with shafts rockers, intake, pushrods, .903 lifters, grp rods, ross pistons, scat 4.150 forged crank, 50 mm cam. No oil pan, belt drive or carb. Just say the car went 7.70s with a nitrous plate at 3270 lbs. And go.....

I was glad to see you were bringing back on topic.

Still very few posts these heads are technically a great race head, except they are aluminum.

If the plan is to make another iron Pontiac block, it is going to have to be flat out incredible be tougher than an IAII. After running 1 single block on 90% nitro for 5 years with all the stupid stuff we did to it and all it needs is a hone job and it's ready for more!. We are talking about tossing 2 rods out of the bottom of it. Going through a fire that destroyed the entire car. Melting main bearings in the block that looked like some sort of modern art. Getting the main caps so hot they turned black. All this and making 2200-2400 HP on 6 and 7 cylinders at times. The block has been line honed multiple times to fix all this chaos, decked once 4 years ago, and now has a bore of 4.254. It was 4.250 when we started. Very impressed with the function and performance of these blocks. With the N20 fed Grocery Getter, we split 3 stock blocks right through the #2 and #4 main oil feeds and cracked multiple sleeves at less than 1100 HP. before making the switch to the IA blocks.

I would love to see you make an iron Pontiac cylinder head. You are a cylinder head expert and this would be a natural. The hobby really needs this. We have 2 aftermarket block suppliers, 6 or more aluminum head choices, and 0 iron heads. Good cores are scarce and it take allot of work to make a set decent. An iron Pontiac head 300-320 CFM out of the box would be a big seller. Power adder guys would love it. Street and restoration guys too if it looked stock.

... oh it would be ...

... it honestly would be the block that would represent what many high end racers are looking for, and also fill the bill for the SR block type customers are looking for, because the pricing would be very reasonable ...

I will certainly stay tuned. If you are going to be pouring iron, please consider the iron head suggestion too. With your port designs, it seems like a slam dunk.

... I don't know if that's something we'd look at doing or not, iron is fairly cheap to pour though ...

... all cranks are based on the 3.00 main, for now, and the available strokes will be (4.250,4.375,4.500.4.650) ...
