Give both sides of the "COIN" credit for putting on a entertaining program, especially Farm Truck, Aze, and Mr Kaufman.
Pontiac in the front again. Looked about like 40Gs that Richard was waving around, if it was all $100 bills. Tom V.

It's just amazing that 2 different race teams with 2 completely different cars can be so close there first trip down the track together!

Thanks George. I just saw the money waving, was watching and my wife was on the phone so mute was on.
Tom V. Agree, on the race being close the 1st race but the Pro Stock guy had little time in the Pro Mod car, it did hit the wall earlier, and he was already screwed up head wise with the "boss" being pissed that he lost the 1st race. You already know the outcome but can see some of the reasons why he lost after watching the actual show. Tom V.

Technically Chief had no time in the Crow either. Familiar car design and parts maybe but no test time.
Yeah, I've seen that look before. Boss paid all this money, excepts nothing short of winning, attitude screws up the team. Same as my day job. ![]() Not sure if it was scripted but that's the second time I've seen them hold Chief back from adding more or changing the car and be right. Considering his first run was good but squirrely, best to run the second as is since you already have one in the bag and getting a better lane.

I have to admit Chiefs pretty good at getting his car down a SH_T track, that actually won the race for them. The Mopar had more power. on a prepped track the outcome probably would had been different. I am kinda amazed that Chief also treed Alex. Alex is a pretty good leaver. As for him making the switch from a Pro Stock to a Pro Mod (not really a Pro Mod).......NO BIG difference. Just a transbrake button and throwing one lever......im thinking he can handle it, driving is driving! My-Gosh.....it was only an 1/8 mile race! LOL!

So what your say is that the track was prepped just like on a normal race day (AKA Norwalk).

It's great fun to see these old, outdated, out of business engines beat up on the latest and greatest. No matter what the format, and all the BS of "reality TV", it still makes me happy. Probably over half the audience that watches the shows weren't born when the last traditional Pontiac left a GM assembly line. Keeping the brand alive and relevant, that's for sure. If Pontiac was still in business, think how many cars he could have sold for the brand.

(hi did you notice who was standing behind the crow) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESngnVcziAk Looks like like a guy named Travis on the left side. So the Crow did have some test time (just like the Pro Mod) Not much, but enough to know it was going to 60 ft really well. But as you said, not a lot of time in that car. But Marty had years in that car. Sorry looks like the video has expired but the video did show the new Crow testing on the track. Tom V.
