1NC,
Thanks so much for reading our thread! It's funny how when I was a young man, I used to document and photograph all of my cars....I guess it's tough to break tradition!...
I am excited for you to get the 72 Vert to paint! What color are you going to paint her?...
Again, Thanks for gracing our page!...

She's going to be a dark grey / pewter / silver with an interior similar to the original saddle but with just enough reddish tint to make the paint pop. Hope to be driving it by spring.

Thanks Kurt. That's very close to what I have in mind. Visualize a black drop top, 15" Rally wheels and GTO rockers

Kurt,
I hope this is not a stupid question but would not having all the front sheet metal on the car affect the alignment ?

Shouldn't make a difference. Everything is there except the front end...Karl Bick will make sure!

Yes, it will. Unless you have steering arms that correct for bump steer or Savitske's kit you need the car at weigh to align.

Thanks for the info. I'll find out this week. Not a problem if I have to wait!

Default Off to Paint she goes!

Off to paint she goes! Removed the Torque Thrust D wheels and tires. Installed the stock Pontiac wheels...when she is done, I will restore the original Poncho wheels with new centers and polish the trim rings....Might just look good with them...

Default Alignment and lube the chassis

We took Blu BiYu to Hubbard GM Center in Monticello, Indiana for some attention. What a thrill to be associated with a wonderful family run business such as Hubbards. They truly are some of the last "Homegrown" companies in America!

Took some time yesterday to begin cleaning all the Stainless on the LeMans...
Also wire brushed the trunk for paint and found two small areas that need some attention at the body shop....

***NOTE***...I plan on selling all the OEM parts I removed from this car. Everything from the Core Support to a complete set of chrome trim and badges. As far as the bumpers, I will be selling the rear for sure. I will wait to see just how good the front is before I make a decision on it.
I hope to make a complete list with photos and post....If anyone has any desire for something special....let me know....

Took some time today and mocked up all the new Chrome Emblems. I drilled out the existing holes so I can simply install them after paint!...
