Ditto...pictures...pictures...pictures! Congrats Lloyd - I'm going to hold you to that offer to come to GA for the BOP and we'll take her for a spin!

Thanks, Youssef!

Seems that we'll both be owning Cameo White '74 SD T/A's.

Lloyd,

I did get a chance to see it at the TA Nationals last year. Very nice. Gary had just taken delivery. I last saw it in Tipp City with Garys other nice rides.

Thanks, Jay.

Too bad it's likely a couple of seconds and 15+ MPH slower than your D-port '74!!!

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!

Yes, the deal is done! I have officially modified my PY signature to remove the white SD. I still have my other 1974 SD and the 1971 Trans Am so I can stay a member of the SD and 455 HO clubs (kind of like Lloyd is now ).

I have put the restoration of my blue 1974 SD on fast forward with JasonD and if he can not get it moving then it will jump to Tom at Muscle Car Alley the first of MAY! I have never sent a car away to be restored and so far my experience has been painful on the duration. I may just bring the car home 70% done and complete it here.

Lloyd is excellent to work with! He will really enjoy this SD Trans Am.

Thanks, Larry.

Speaking of Niftee-50ees, are you planning on making that daytime cruise-in on March 7th?

And - back at you, Gary.

The rest of you guys should know more of this story. Gary and I began working on this SD deal over three months ago. We came to an agreement, with Gary most graciously offering to hold the car for me - at our agreed price - until I could come up with the necessary funds (sell my GTO). With the Spring season approaching I still had not lived up to MY end of our agreement, and I had not been working very hard on marketing my car. Keep in mind that since our agreement, a few SD cars had changed hands, i.e. the B-J auction, etc. Those sales indicated that SD prices were remaining firm despite the crappy economy. Nevertheless, Gary assured me that we still had a deal at the agreed price.

I finally got off my duff and started working with several local contacts, and I was finally able to sell my GTO to a really nice guy from San Antonio. With a firm deal made - and a deposit in hand - for the GTO, I felt comfortable with taking out a short-term loan so that Gary and I could complete our deal.

My point is that Gary is undoubtedly one of the nicest guys in the Pontiac hobby. Thanks once again my friend, I appreciate your patience, and I owe you one!

I hope JasonD can get your other SD done in time for the warmer weather!

Don't think so. That's the same weekend that I am competing in a vintage motocross event so I might be at the track on that Saturday for practice.

OK Larry, I'll see you @ Niftee-50ees then on the 14th.

Be careful in that motocross "event", my friend!

Yep - waiting on Thomas Sunday. Expecting it to arrive here early next week.

Since it's paid for, I'll post up some pics that Gary sent to me, for now.

I'm also filling out the SD registry form, since this car isn't in your registry yet.
