I need help or advice bought a 355 posi for my 69 gto and the ears are half inch clo serfor my upper control arms are the 10 bolt different from the 12 bolt rearends

Is the new rearend the same length as your old one? Firebird used a similar rear,but I was told that it is a bit shorter than that of the GTO.
