Dates are usually stamped on the top of the hump around the carb opening. They were usually done in an ink (blue I think) but also may be stamped into the metal slightly. If it has been repainted, it may be tough to find.

69 and early 70's do not have the carb vent tube.Late 70's thru 72 have the carb vent tube.The Air cleaner has to be a 69 or early 70 used on " A " bodies and 70 G.P.'s...
