That car is AWSOME! Was proud to have it in my shop. We painted the motor for him and did a few minor finishing details and a final buff. Congradulations rob on the gold! Well deserved. Wish i would have gotten some pictures while it was there.

color looks like Porsche red
I have a solar red car,cant say its the best color for a red car but if I was doing a $100k car I wouldnt amend the color.

Rob was going to buy my RA II exhaust manifolds from me and sorry that he did not get them due to timing. Car looks great though. Very nicely done. Congrats~!

Well Chuck-maybe he can restore ALL the pontiacs that are left to restore. Seems like all he does is the FINISHING touches. Then who does all the HARD work?????? A differant shop?????

I wish i could take all the credit for some of the cars that come through my shop, but sometimes i'm just cleaning up someone elses mess. Some of the shops that have done the hard work seem to do a good job, but its the final details that they miss. I still love chuck, but we all know he gets a little carried away sometimes. I just let him pull all the rope out he wants. Keep pulling chuck! Was it till 2014? I dont remember cause i only pay attention to you when you say something intellegent .

Is this a good place to put this? I do a little hard work sometimes. New floor, trunk, frame rails and quarters. 67 400 4 spd. factory hood tach. car, special order Q code verdoro green.

Why would i replace the upper a arms? Dont know if they are correct, but they were on the car when i recieved it and the last time car was worked on was probably in the late 70's when they put that laquer paint on it. As far as i know, the car was sitting since early 80's. The chassis was in mint condition. There wasnt one reproduction part on the car, so i'm assuming it was redone early on. I believe it had nos fenders installed at that time cause they only had a rust spot the size of a quarter on them and the quarters were patched up with tin and rivits. All original interior in good shape but the top is supposed to be white. Any info for corrections would be appreciated as i'm not a firebird expert. BTW this was a drum brake car and we put a single piston caliper setup on it for the owner for drivability, this is going to be a driver car, not concours. Also, it did have the upper control arm shafts replaced with moogs and we put them back in with new bushings as they were fine. Remember, DRIVER. I know i usually do concours cars, but you gotta do what the customer wants.
