The RA shaker decal.... I had a pair on the shaker back in the 70's but it went back to original in the 80's LOL

years ago there was a guy in the Dayton Trans Am club that had a 1970 that had W-66 on his scoop.this would have been around 1979-80 as right around this time he got to be one of the trans am's to do a lap at the Indy 500 when the TA was the pace car.he said that was the way he bought it,can't remember if he got it new or not.

have you ever heard of anything like that?

So you've owned it a long long time...that's great. I'll have to admit, since they put decals on every T/A after 1970 it does look "empty" in most people's eyes..but for those of us who know better....

According to the CPI inflation calculator, $2,000 in 1975 dollars was $8,134 in 2010 dollars. Nice investment Norwood. And I thought I did alright when I bought a 70 Formula 400 in 1981 for $900 (I was 18) that I sold in 1987 for $2,800. I bought a similar 1970 Formula in 2007 for more than I want to discuss.

Thanks! well, I should have brought someone with me besides my wife, she loves purple, to get blue, but I think it will be fine.

I have Honeycombs for it, and actually going to use honeycomb hood grilles as well, and honeycomb front grilles of course.
Car is in slow motion now as Body guy is now working at a restoration shop... Kinda frustrating, but gives me a chance to pick at little stuff. more late4r thxs Gregg

My 1972 Trans Am came from Valleyfield Quebec , the dealership was name Bourgon & Queenevielle Ltd , is that the same dealer you're talking about. I was in Valleyfield Quebec in august of 2010 to see if I could find the dealership. No luck the dealership was long gone but some building are still there , but a few people told me the dealership moved a few times and told me of two location it was in early 1970. My car was ship to the dealership on October 4 1971 from GM of Canada in Oshawa Ontario Canada to Valleyfield Quebec. Nobody there was able to tell me for sure were the dealer was in October 71, but here is a few pictures of the two location.

Zyman, I really only have a few more pic's that are basically repetitive of what is here.... The car was bought sight un seen and I will pick it up myself in Wyoming in the mid Spring as part of the deal (I wanted to drive Gods country out there as I hear it is outstandingly beautiful)...

Heck I don't even have a PHS or Vin on the car to this point LOL,,, just saw it, loved it, bought it....
