Went up .21 on the gallon here today for 87, from 3.08 to 3.29. This is getting back past the point of stupid.

Was $3.229 yesterday and $3.399 today.......the "problem" in Venzuala sent it over $3 a gallon, now the problem in Libya will send it over $4 a gallon and when they are finished the Saudi's will riot and send it over $5 a gallon.......and why did we spend all that money in Iraq "for freedom" and not get it back in oil??????? So much for the "recovery"!!!

It can hit $7.00 a gallon.
They know we can't do anything about it.

The hedge fund managers and oil speculators are in a wild celebration now.
They bought futures months ago at low prices, and do NOTHING to reap billions in profits. All on the back of the working man. Oil should be regulated, like electricity and natural gas. No more allowance for people to drive prices up for greed. |

Down here we are around $1.29 to $1.32 per litre for 91 octane, about the same for diesel. Like sleepy, I only get to drive the family wagon when it's empty...almost $85.00 to fill up last time. I've stopped looking at what the 98 octane "good stuff" is priced at these days.

Gas went up lastnight at Wawa just down the street from 3.199 to 3.299 This has been pretty good telling what prices are. Just insert your Zip Code for your area. http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gassta...730286&zoom=12

Is "to much" an answer...any way 87 is at 3.29 a gallon diesel is 3.59 a gallon. The last time I checked 110 Cam II at my local Speedway was 5.99 a gallon. It looks like it is time to finally change the 65 over to E-85 (built a Dominator over a year ago and upgraded the rest of the system at same time) But with diesel costing so much I will not be able to tow to the track! Oh well, I will climb down off my soap box now.

It's all bulls***! and were getting bent over the table with our pants down from the oil companies let alone the gas stations that raise the prices when they want several times in one day which is illegal.

Your president is salivating, exactly what he wants to blow up the little remaining of the middle class. He said so in his speaches while running. He could lift/cut the red tape on the gulf drilling moratorium or heaven forbid, encourage our own drilling. Ain't gonna happen.

The bad is my daily driver is a diesel Ram and it cost me about $110 to fill up but the good is it lasts me 600 miles. I think diesel was $3.45 last time I filled up.
My only other vehicle is my 62 which I filled up with 93 octane last night for $3.55 It could be worse. But it could be a whole hell of a lot better

Filled up the AMG last night at the Chevron on the Al/Tn state line. The 'Supreme 93' was $3.59, and the diesel was the same.. Ouch.

And they're predicting (sorry, the word is 'speculating') that it will be $5.00 this summer.
It's not just affecting our hobby, but the prices on everything we buy. They're saying there's going to be a 15% increase in groceries and clothing this year, and that's NOT including the fact they will raise prices even FURTHER due to high fuel costs to ship those items.
