They are torn down to bare metal and rebuilt anyway. I've got 2 to have done after deciding which cars get them. The amount is high, but within reach considering the results.

Hi all, I'm just wondering who owns the Bill Knafel's Anderson Pontiac '63 Tempest now. Is he a member here? I love the way that car looks and sits. Also who owns Arnie Beswick's '63 Tempest drag car? thanks for your help

The red Anderson car is owned by Tim Benko. He is not a member here (that I know of) but is active in the Pontiac hobby.

I thought Arnie still owned his '63, having turned it into the Tameless Tiger car.

Thank you, I was just wondering. I really like the way that car is set-up.

Here's mine, fresh from the barn last Friday.

The neat thing about this car is that my sister used to drive it back in 1966 when she worked as a nanny for the owners. The wife died in 1973 and the car was stored for many years although it had been tagged since new. It is showing 21920 miles which I thought were original. I'll find out when I get it on the lift and do my inspection. Even if it has rolled over, it is still a solid car and runs well. The worst of the repairs is soft trim and maybe a windshield.

Nice find Tom. Interesting that it's a Tempest that has side spears but not the three chrome tips below. Usually it's the other way around isn't it?

Welcome and outstanding find! I look forward to your restoration progress. As I mentioned in my PM, check with Kanter and Ames for your brake parts.

Sorry, I can't answer the trim question. Not particularly visible in the photo is another molding on the rocker panel. Still trying to find the ACC codes, mine are 2A, 2M and 4B. I saw somewhere that the 2M is that auto trans.

Haven't had the Ol 63 out in awhile so after stuffing myself on turkey day the weather was perfect for a digestion run

Still have a small to do list, moving forward slow but we're still at it!
