Elmira ny home to Mark Twain also the site of a large civil war prison camp and a current state prison, was a stop on the Underground Railroad Hal Roach of little rascals fame and Tommy Hillfiger the designer are all from Elmira

Deer & horse population
PGA golf course
Rural surroundings, few places in St Louis county.
Roger Riney (CEO Scottrade) and alot of the Anheuser Busch family lives here.

Also don't forget Tom Petty! Many people think Tom Petty is from California, but he was born and raised in Gainsville. Tom learned guitar from fellow Gainsville native Don Felder, who later went on to The Eagles.
