Yup, Jeff didn't even get a lap in. I didn't want to anger the 24 fans.

I give her a chance at the top 10 if she is 1 lap down in the lucky dog position when half the field wrecks.

Yesterday's CW Truck race was significant in illustrating the difficulty in the new reconfiguration and resurfaced Kansas track. Should be quite the challenge for all drivers, brakes, drive trains. Expect to see some engine failures.
The inside side draft and loss of aero grip cause of many surprises and position changes... |

Was the Daytona a fluke, a fix or are Daytona and Talladega just that easy to run now?

Even DW had a hard time when asked if she would win this year. His mouth said maybe while his head was shaking no. Today was a tough drivers race and she held her own, mid pack. (that is a compliment, not a slam) |

More and more sounds like someone with mental-menopause... Wait until they show the replay...
BTW - WTH with the XFINITY cut to commercial in the middle of the last lap? Even my Mrs said: "Who won?" That's what was show in the Houston market, at yours also? |

However, 10 cars didn't finish the race, so they weren't on the track competing at the end. That leaves 33 cars on the track, and 20 of them were on the lead lap. Another 4 were only 1 lap down. So she finished ahead of 8 cars that were still on the track and most of those are drivers who are racing for underfunded teams - i.e. Josh Wise, David Reutimann, David Ragan, David Stremme, Timmy Hill. 25th, in this case is not even close. She rode around the track and avoided being in a race ending crash. To put things in perspective - Denny Hamlin has an average finish of 16th this year in the 5 races he has been in this year. Denny has missed the last 3 races. Danica is only ahead of Denny by 9 points (she got 19 points for yesterday's finish - Denny got zero points for the 3rd week in a row). |
