And even with the Aussie's they only drew 68,891 for the 3 day event.

V8 Supercars have been racing in China and the Middle East...now the US.
I think they're trying for an F1 style world circuit now that they have Mercedes and Nissan on board with cars. Since the Commodore is represented, it wouldn't take any developement work at all to field a team with a pair of Chevy SS's. Mind you, these cars bear NO actual resemblance (except visually) with any production car at all.....which is a downer for me. I like production touring car racing.
