400hp with a 1973 455? Ok, are you trying to sell the Brooklyn Bridge as well?

He's owned the car for the last 20 years and he still refers to it as a "Chevy GTO" ?

"price $4500 or reasonable offer" If anything I'd bet it would be the reasonable offer.

Just trolling for all the local hillbillies to click on his ad.
Most of them never heard of a Pontiac.

Somehow, I've never considered a car sitting in a field as being synonymous with being 'stored'. Is it just me?

Could possibly be a nice car though.
having lived in South texas for far longer than should legally be allowed, Im guessing they are referring to San Antonio. People there are "special"

"Short Bus?"

When living in Albuquerque - the New Mexico Desert - I was amazed at the number of total rust buckets there. Some imported by Military and Govt Contract peeps, and Wholesalers from the Rustbelts, Oceanside coast communities...flood cars, etc.

Quite often when a CL or other FS ad states: "Rust Free Texas (or California, New Mexico, etc.) Car" I have to remind myself of the total Bondo Bandits that are often foisted on the unsuspecting by less than scrupulous hucksters…as often noted on this very “Epic Craigslist Ad” thread.

Enjoy!

Awesome. Looks like a few 4x8 sheets of drywall would drop right in the bed.

Nice car but I'm pretty sure it's a Tempest, not slash/GTO.

Greg, it is a real a GTO..... but via only by the added GTO hood. He forgot to replace the Tempest interior before placing the ad. I'm surprised he did say it was a 455 BIG block. LOL
