You're welcome.

Don't get me wrong, it's a REALLY nice HO Formy and all of the work on the car is well done.

The only things I'd try and correct would be the fender reinforcements (or correct fenders), the radiator support and the exhaust system.

Still, $30K is probably strong money for a MY Formula with cordova, never mind it's checkered past.

here's a Monarch Yellow over black deluxe with honeycombs, which to me is the best combination for this color:

I STILL really like those Eagle ST tires.....wonder what Goodyear was thinking when the stopped making them 15 years ago.....

It's like they handed the whole musclecar market over to BFG and said here,....we don't want it anymore....

agreed, I would run the Eagle ST's if they still made them with the BFG's coming in a close second.

Goodyear made a number of cool tires back in the 80s.... the white lettered Wingfoots with the fine white stripe, and the outline white lettered Eagle GTs are two of my favorites.

Rick thanks for posting the pic of my yellow Formula. I also like the look with no vinyl top or side stripe. Black gut is mandatory with this color lol. Rear spoiler with any. Here we go....

Getting back to the first MY car, I will side with the minority opinion- I really like it and like the stripe and interior too. Notice the very original "indent" on the lower quarters-it says unmolested to me. I would like to hear the shark tank opinions on it though. I saw that one on CL quite a while ago. Anybody know the background on it?

I put a set of 245/60 15" Wingfoots on my 80 T/A when the Polysteels went away.....82? I think....VERY cool looking sidewall and they worked really good, too.

I cut a 1/2 coil off the front springs with 1" lowereing blocks in the back....sat about 2" lower than stock....but you wouldn't realize it till you parked beside a "stock" one...

The eagle ST's were the worst tires ever made , they looked great but they were so slippery that you couldn't get any traction with them . They were so hard if you did get caught in the rain heaven help you. I got a set because they looked great & looked so close to the Ployglass that came on my 73 GTO new I had to have a set. The did ride good but they were slippery. They would go up in smoke in a heart beat. They wore great as they were a 50K tire but I wouldn't have another set to dive on only show. Thats also why they stopped making them.
