Not much room in the back seat even before the intercooler is installed. Was considering adding a sidecar or rumble seat.

Dont worry about any of the seats. With the power that beast is putting out, no one will want to ride with you anyway.

Great build BTW

No lead -- they are heavy and there's no water in it yet - add a tank and water pump and 5-7 gallons of ice water and add another 55 to 60 lbs - ask me how I know -- lol

Beware of the boosted Pontiacs in 2014 Looks like there are going to be a few of them. I’m hoping mine will be one.

Pontiacs were slow to accept boost, but they're coming on strong now.
Yours looks great, can't wait until its ready!

Yep, your Water to Air intercooler deal can easily add over 100 pounds to the vehicle weight (with a 5-8 gal ice reservoir)..

Say you have a basic 5 gallon reservoir. (40 pounds just for the water). (Pint a pound the world around). Then the aluminum or plastic reservoir weighs a few pounds.

Then you have the pump weight and the transfer lines/ water weight. Finally you have your 42 pound inter-cooler before adding a gallon or more to that unit.

But at the end of the day the engine will be able to run more boost without durability issues.

You got that right Tom, reliability and durability, that’s the plan.

I really appreciate all the support and input you guys have provided me with on this project. I’m sure there will be many more questions coming once we start plumbing and wiring the car.

Jack, you really should seek help if you keep hearing those voices in your head.

Ed , had meant to ask you before -

while the engine was apart did you do any more work on the interior of the intake manifold ?

Any other progress worth mentioning on the car lately ?

Thanks
