Rule of thumb is to install it straight up for the most part, and I wouldn't advise doing anything but without knowing what the specs are. Without the specs, you can't even choose springs, so it's pretty worthless until you know for sure what it is.

The cam should have a number on it on the rear, and possibly a work order number. Some hand grind the work order number into them. Post that number, someone should be able to ID the make, and with the work order number, you can call the manufacturer and find out what the grind is.

Otherwise, you can add it to that grinder stand.
