Awesome #'s!
Are you going to put it in the car as is? Converter change for the new power curve? You had said you were going to try a few different carbs, was there one that was better than others? Great job!

yes it will go in the car with the same gear/convertor as last year. 6800convertor 4.10 gear. I'm sure it will want more gear and likely more convertor. Need to start somewhere and as it sits is a good start. Work from there so I don't go backwards and not know it. The convertor may react to the extra 50-60ftlbs of torque and fix itself.....I don't usually get that lucky though. I tried one larger carb and it was 9 hp better than the one I currently have. For R70 judge...no advantage on the paint. Looks cool though....

You can ask for any info you like Stan. If something is sensitive I'll just say I'd rather not say. And you're welcome.

Mike - have you tried the different wt trans fluids to change convertor stall yet ??? some say its worth 200 to 300 rpm.

John Deere tractor hydrolic oil will tighten the converter up about 200 rpms, or at least it did on my junk. Just make sure you have about a quart of red transmission fluid so you can read the stick.
