I think it would be great for Barcak to also get in on it. Heck, I'd put in the $500 for him.... I threw more than that away just to help start a heads-up class at Norwalk.

Bill Mellott's car looks to have all the right hardware to be a contender. Anybody have any updates on his progress?

Arguments belong in one of those other threads that I avoid.

I sent in a sponsorship request yesterday to VP Racing Fuels West to see if they had any interest toward an in kind gift of fuel or any other sponsorship for the first Pontiac 5-second ET performance bounty. They have been pretty tight with their sponsorships lately, but will keep this thread updated if they reply.

All the extra money on the line is making our pistons nervous.

Who's holding the money on this deal? Not that I'm volunteering---I'm not. But, if it isn't all gathered in one place, I suspect there might be some foot-shuffling and looking at the ground when payoff time comes. Internet promises have never been high on my list of promises to depend on.

I look at it more like a gentlemen's bet. If a person stiffs the other and exposes his true character then so be it. It's worth that price to know what kind of person you're dealing with, (or never dealing with again)

I agree... words mean things... even on the internet!

Good to see some support for this!
