My GT-37 came from Wilks County North Carolina, right in the heart of moonshining.

Agree IIRC - that is a GM photo, note the mfg plate. Perhaps another one of those "styling studio" early versions never released to the general buying public?

That GM photo of the '68 with hood tach is probably using a '67 hood tach. If I remember correctly the '67 version is noticeably taller?
By the way, that's the photo they include with the PHS package for '68.
