The 3:90 is long gone. When I bought the car it had a 2:73 10 bolt. I acquired a 12 bolt posi traction 3:73 out of a 69 Z28 and bolted that in. I think I want less gear than that, maybe 3:31. The engine makes plenty of power, I dont really need all that gear. I had a 67 GTO that I swapped out a 12 Bolt out of a 70 SS Chevelle and that seemed like a good gear for that car.

Brian Steinbreck and myself spent many hours with many migrane headaches trying to get the breakdown totals to match the BHC Label Price.
We both had to throw in the towel.
Probably many others were trying to work it out behind the scenes, too.

But i have nailed it down now.

Baron – you are truly a research wizard. Great job and certainly owe you a beer.

Then again, the amount of beers I owe people, I should just rent a centralized location and a couple Kegs for an all-out Pontiac gathering. (Might have to invite some Olds and Buick guys also)

Set a new best ever ET for the F.A.S.T 68 RAII Bird this past weekend in Maryland. If you slow or pause the video down you can see the front left tire lifting off the ground twice.
