The 4.03 is what he just ran this weekend, with the Crowmod.

Yes, but Justin did it at 2700# on little tires with just a handful of passes on the car.

Everything being equal small tire cars are quicker then big tire cars. YES the weight is a big factor. Are you sure Justin's car weighs that much? He is picking them up and laying them down!

Actually the article is somewhat correct, he does hold a new world record he has the fastest Pontiac powered door car, jeff kauffmans dragster doesnt have doors and steve dales gto doesnt have doors, so he is #1 with doors, his car is extremely fast and with a Pontiac engine running and out running the radial vs world cars thats awesome if ya ask me, and was pretty cool to see justin drag Tom Bailey's ass down the 1/8th that pass won me some money right there so thanks justin lol

George I took justin the only set of 113M main bearings I had down to lights out 7 and he and his guys hooked us up for the weekend very cool guys but back to subject we were talking and they made him weigh in at 2700lbs with a Pontiac edelbrock headed motor but they let Keith Haney with his 900+ci billet motor promod with 5 stages of nitrous weigh in at 2550 lbs, so justin is obviously making some enormous power that little 482ci PONTIAC has to weigh more than a billet motor in my opinion he should be able to weigh less than Haney did then we may have already seen a 3.xx pass out of the crowmod

Crowmod IS lighter vs the required weight he ran at 2700 pounds.

Put the Dairy Farmers or Steve Dale's race car at 2700 pounds and lets see a et/and MPH number.

Tom V.

Sorry Jack, brain fade during the other post.

People might be surprised if all 3 Race Cars ran on the same track, same weather! Probably might not be as close as one would think! Either way ALL 3 cars are hauling the mail!!
..........also one car is set up for 1/8 mile racing as oppose to 1/4 mile racing.

Yea, but he is killing a lot of power down low to make it hook. Let him put the big tires on it and I bet it goes 3.80s with all the weight out of it which is still heavier then both of the other cars by a few hundred pounds!

He will go 80s. Lock it in.

He went a pair of 4.03s at 185 at 2700# that is with just a few passes on the car. If he puts the big tires on it and can take 400-500# out its a done deal.

Don't get all butt hurt that KRE took a few decades of blowing chit up to go a 3.99!

George is like me in the fact that he has never made enough power to have to worry about managing it down low. I'm with Jack. 400 lbs. lighter, big tires, and more aggressive tune it's faster than the funny or tube rack. EHTTFMF Yea, I said that!

Any car........and I'll repeat any car making there type of power has a problem down low, they all have to try to manage there HP. As for me 1,100+ foot pounds of torque gets pretty tricky at Milan sometimes, I've have to adjust sometimes......no biggie......I'm a Bracket Racer! LOL!'

Agreed, it just bugs me that people write articles without doing any research these days.

Trust me, I'm a big fan of Justin, I just hate to see false info published as fact.

Deal is Mike, very few on this board know about the super large can of Whoop aze that the Crowmod has not even cracked open yet. Some brag about low 8 second times with only 12 psi of boost vs the Butler gang not being happy running 50 psi of boost on the 63 tempest and want to run even more boost (possible at some point with a smaller engine vs the 482 engine).

It is an exciting time for Justin, the Butlers, Travis Q, and the rest of the Oklahoma Street Outlaws guys.

When did Justin ever run a 4.03 in the old LeMans? I think he stated that thing never ran quicker than 4.30s because it was too heavy.
