He had competition easily covered as long as he didnt red light. Went 7.7xx @177.xx on smallish single gun.

KRE's NA dragster had better ET but iirc Dick held on to most mph for event.

Rules for outlaw street were VERY liberal...
Class rules:
  • Car must have headlights, & tail lights
  • Car must have a license plate
  • Any Power Adder – no limits or restrictions
  • Any fuel – no limits or restriction
  • Any Chassis
  • Car must retain stock steel roof and rear quarter panels
  • Must run traditional Pontiac V-8 engine with 4.620 block bore spacing & Pontiac Body
Racing will be done on a .400 Pro tree and the first one to the end wins

surprised no other big guns came out for the $2000. Maybe next year???

Fwiw it was @97 in the shade, fortunately with a nice breeze coming from the west. I didnt bother to note details like DA, starting line temp etc..
Congrats to Mr.Fulton again!
I was just asking because good competition is what I like to hear about that is all. No doubt the a hot track sounded like a the toughest competitor in outlaw street....and by the sounds of it Fulton beat that too.

$2000 to win? NICE! Not sure why some of the east coast guys didn't go down for that....maybe next year
