Shows how underrated the E head is and just how good Mike, Marcella and S Brown were together.

If Langer says he is going boost because even "he" can not afford it anymore, I will take him at his word. 5K for a weekend. I spend 200$. Heard he has several sets of 500$+ pac springs in his pit. Checks them every run. Expensive game.
Let's be clear. I never said I could not afford na racing anymore. There is more bang for the buck and more venues to race at with a power adder.

Fact---
Langer's budget for Beer at the races exceeds most peoples race program budget.

Got to keep those body systems flushed out.

What Langer does with his money................
is John Langer's business.

Not the best choice of words John. But your info opened my eyes on just how expensive the high end NA game is.
Unaffordable to most. Can not wait to see what you come up with. You set the bar at the top with your NA effort.
Quite certain you can afford whatever engine you want. You have never been one of those check writers who does not know what they are talking about.

So do you plan on staying Pontiac and what heads do you plan to run?

In several different threads and posts you have said how it's so much cheaper to build a power adder combo. I find that laughable.
When we're talking about max effort combos here not street stuff power adders cost as much if not more! Max effort combos require quite a few "one off" items you just don't build one with off the shelf chit. If it was so much cheaper and affordable don't you think everyone would be doing it.
Talk about things you have first hand knowledge of not what so and so told you.

Why not? The aluminum casting doesn't know what name is on it. It's what you do with it.

Care to share how much your top end cost ? How much power does Chief have, how much did his cost. Bet it was 1/4 of what yours did.

Hey man, if you got the money, great, god bless you. How much power do you think you could have made with your best I knew of, 420cfm E heads ? Far better than Justins. You have the biggest centrifugal there is.
Awesome car by the way. What classes do you race it in ?

Carefull John. If you offend the west coast super genius vaught may send you nasty private messages personally attacking you. Your education- job and financial status is fair game.

How would I know and why would I care? Apparently you haven't priced a pair of Precision GenII turbos lately.

As always all you seem to care about is flow bench numbers. Boosted applications are much different than N/A when it comes to head flow. The larger the port the harder it is to make boost. Just like most of the big HP boosted motors are all under 600c.i. it takes a lot of air to fill a big cylinder. You can't keep thinking of a boosted motor in the same logic as a N/A motor.(but I'm sure you already knew this all this)

No we do not. We run a F-3 136 @ 71% The biggest is a F-3 143

We run in a local heads up series http://www.warriorsraceteam.com/home.html
and some other heads up races here in the Mid Atlantic region.

It amazes me how many times someone can be shown they haven't a clue yet they keep acting like they know all.

If you were an east coast (Virginia) super genius (vs a guy just running his mouth about other people) I would stand up for you too.

Dragncar and I argued for years on this board.
He is just a guy who liked/respected a guy that I also was privileged to meet and respected: Dan Whitmore.

We worked out our differences.

chiefbigb sends me some PM notes and then gets butt-hurt because I do not bow down because he has 3 race cars and 2 show cars. Probably is a great guy, just one of the attackers ganging up on Dragncar.

Brian (slowbird) has selective memory.
He calls me up and I help him with his flow bench project years ago. Do not know how well it worked out after he actually built it but he got some good advice and parts that other people have been very happy with. But that is typical of his generation. Selective Memory.

So on with your bashing. I look at PY Race Section like I would look at the interaction between Paul Teutul Sr. (Orange County Choppers)
and his son. Kind of like a reality show where people tune in to see what the next show will bring in the way of comedy.
There are no 5 second Pontiacs out there on the track, much less 5.70 ET full body cars (with small engines and twin turbos).

I can cheer for the guys in second or third place in a race but that still does not mean I can't like the actual the really fast guys like
Langer running 7s NA vs George running low 8s with a 8-71 supercharger. Or Mahovitz running 5.70s with a full body car vs a lightweight dragster running 6s.
