Chief- if that first picture of Eddie's twin engine dragster is from the '61 Indy Nationals, I'm somewhere in the crowd. I watched his dual slicks tear chunks of asphalt from the starting line!

That was quite an event for Chevy fans, with Sneaky Pete taking Top Eliminator over all those "big guns".

Jack, you definitely been around the block for sure. In a roundabout way I know you through connections but as far as I know, we never met. Someday though we need to get together so I can see that Hemi in one piece that Paul worked on.

Those two must have been seated for the Pennzoil picture, or Eddie has gotten much taller since then!

Unfortuately I cannot get away when I'm at Norwalk. As it is I barely get to see any of the racing and hardly any of the car show. My 1 chance to get away is on the first day when I try and hook up with old friends like Steve, Arnie, Barry and a couple of others. And even then I only get away for about an hour near the end of the day.

Jack is usually on the show field side.
Usually by the Arnie and Boss Bird area.

Haven't seen Eddie and Ercie in a while, this picture makes them look ageless.
Their Pennzoil Nuclear Banana was my favorite TF car back in the day.

Eddie Hill is still racing, but these days it's road racing. He often goes to my cousin's track in Oklahoma. He's a US distributor for Ariel Atoms, this is a video of him on track in one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwrvqj8TvN8

Thanks for sharing that Stuart, looks like Eddie still likes to go fast. I bet Eddie would say he's not going fast enough because he can still turn left.

Hi, This is Eddie Hill, and I just saw this forum today.

I was referred here by 400 4 speed Steve, and I registered today, this is my first post here.

Thanks for all the kind words and positive comments, and posting the neat pictures of some of my toys I have enjoyed through the years.

I was born on March 6, 1936, (the 100th anniversary of the battle of the Alamo) and am now 83, but still healthy and racing and highly blessed by the good Lord.

Ercie and I are currently racing a Pro Formula Mazda road racer that I converted from unblown gas to blown alcohol, still using the Mazda Renesis rotary engine like the RX-8 street car. Big fun.

Cheers, Eddie FourFather Hill

This is Eddie Hill, joining this forum today as FourFather. Thanks for posting all the cool pictures of my dragsters! Some of those I had never seen.

Ercie and I are are still healthy and racing.

My current racer is a Pro Formula Mazda road racer, about 1070 pounds, powered by a Mazda Renesis rotary engine like the Mazda RX-8 street car uses.

I converted mine to methanol and built my own turbocharger kit and picked up a good bit of power and performance.

Big fun.

Cheers,

Eddie

Really cool!

Welcome Eddy and Ercie!
Followed you for many years and always loved your Pontiac powered dragsters!
(I have a Pontiac powered dragster, just not nitro powered)
