I'll share a perfect statement that I was told by a doctor while trying to save my wife...He said "nobody knows everything about anything"...That stuck with me ever since that day in 2002...

As for the 1/4 mile part of it..."IF" I was trying to go faster than any other Pontiac has gone, that would be one thing...My goals arent even to be in the top 5, so i think i'll be in good shape...
Good to know. Now all you have left to do is get your feet wet.

Usually, all things look great on the drawing board but sometimes don't go as planned once you leave the class room.

One will also find "issues" racing a quarter mile compared to an eighth. That last 660 ft can expose problems the eighth mile guy will never see.
Wasn't his bearing issue due to an oiling issue that Chief was doing wrong........something simple?

The water is running, and a stack of parts are ready to be assembled...

Not Chief's fault but a simple fix once you know the answer. No one in the Pontiac camp knew the answer.

That is what was causing him to take out the bearings...The other problem, before that one, was a push rod issue...

The easy part is turning on the water and acquirring the parts.... The hard stuff is ahead of you but I'm sure you'll get it done.

For me, paying for the parts was the hard part...LOL...The rest is a matter of doing it with the right help.

Remember Chief also said he’s running nitro and I’m pretty sure you said he was living, if I remember correctly.

Man, you are not kidding!! With the Boss Bird, that was barely 2 seconds. 1/8 mile, everything would be perfect. Run after run. Quarter mile, just 2 seconds, from perfect to 400 Lbs. of aluminum cole slaw! Just like that.

Saying something on TV, to sensationalize and grow attention, is slightly different...

Chief didnt blame the problem on anyone else, he said he had cut the grooves in it himself...

In my opinion if your car/engine can’t last the 1/4 mile it’s junk! I would be embarrassed.
